해당 프로그램은 한국사회적기업진흥원의 지원을 받아 2022년 7월 6일부터 10월 15일까지 서울시청자미디어센터(성북구 길음동)에서 개최된다.
강의내용은 영상언어와 기본 문법에 대한 기초교육, 드라마·다큐멘터리·오락 등 장르별 화면해설 글쓰기, 그리고 선진 각국의 해외동향 등이다. 강의 기간은 총 15주, 수업회차는 주2회 30강, 총90시간으로 구성된다. 교육 비용은 무료(교재 포함)다.
강사는 현직 화면해설작가인 장현정 오디오작가협동조합 이사장, 박정숙 사회적협동조합 HADA 이사장, 하종원 선문대학교 미디어커뮤니케이션학부 교수, 박기성 전 미디어와 사회연구소 소장 등이 맡는다.
해당 프로그램 수강자는 서류 전형과 실기 전형을 거쳐 선발된다. 수강 인원은 10명 내외다.
